Although this drink is favoured by many, it is pretty expensive and also includes some potentially questionable ingredients. As with any commercial product, there's usually a much healthier (and cheaper) homemade alternative to what you buy in the store. So, we've come up with the real pumpkin pie spice latte recipe for you to try at home!
This recipe is pretty simple and is also versatile depending on dietary requirements. The main ingredients are:
1 cup milk (or a dairy-free alternative for lactose intolerant or vegan individuals)
2 tablespoons pure pumpkin puree
1 tablespoon sugar
1/4 vanilla extract
1/4 cup hot espresso or strong brewed coffee

1 cinnamon stick plus whipped cream for serving
