Cinnamon Syrup


There is something I love about autumn and winter and that is the smells of pumpkin and cinnamon and candles and having a hot cup of tea in my hands. Nothing makes the house smell better than mulled wine and cinnamon!

This will make you believe Christmas has come early. But this syrup goes perfectly on literally everything, pancakes, french toasts, a latte, baked fruit etc. Its ready in 20 minutes and the house will smell like autumn/ Christmas the whole day!

Here is what you need:

-          1 cup of water

-           1 cup of brown sugar

-          4 cinnamon sticks


Put the water in a pan with the cinnamon and let it simmer slowly. Then add the sugar and let it simmer until it has thickened. Let it cool with the cinnamon and before putting in a bottle. Keeps in the fridge for a few days.
